Months turn into......WEEKS!!!!
Man! I always LOVED that old Smothers Brothers routine :O)
It really does seem like time is zipping by at breakneck speed.
This past week has seen some minor "blips" on the ol' radar screen- but also some much-needed time off!
My youngest daughter Maura was down for a 3 day visit. She came with my wife, Wendy to my morning performance at the Findlay Market Fall Festival right here in the Cinci area. It was a fun time- although 45 degrees is just a wee-bit nippy!
The week before I thoroughly enjoyed performing at the College Hill Pumpkin Patch Festival. Since I've been off the road for a few weeks I had the pleasure of helping book some Southwest Ohio area performers to play on stage too! It was a treat!
I'm still working on that elusive "last piece of the puzzle" for the Dave Hawkins Road Team. In the past 10 days I've spoken with 2 agents. Both of them seem interested in jumping on board for the '05 season- I'll let ya know!
I think that's about it for now. I've got to go and see how the BoSox are doing against the New York Bankees... I think it would be sooo cool to have the Sox against the Cards... even though I'm a Reds fan and, therefore am SUPPOSED to cheer for the NL team it might be worth callin' up my ol' friend Sam Bush and wager that the Sox would beat up his beloved Cards ;O)
Keep in touch!
Peace!
Dave
