Election Day 2000, er, I mean 2004---
OK, I'm feeling anxious already! My phone has NEVER been so busy! In the past 3 days I rec'd phone call messages from- Ohio State Sec. of State Ken Blackwell, Laura Bush, Bill Clinton, Weseley Clark, John Edwards and John Kerry. I feel a little put-off that "W" didn't choose to call. I guess he's too busy to worry about li'l ol' me :O)

There has been some examination of conscience, (OK, a LOT of examination). I have decided that one thing everyone agrees on. There will be TOTAL elation when it's over! I haven't seen this much mud-slinging since Aunt Maudie lost the Apple Pie contest to the Mayor's wife in Shawneetown bach in the 20th century! After that year they moved the baking contest to the opposite side of the fairgrounds from the pig pens ;O) Sorry about the digression, I just feel a bit of levity was needed...

I'm anxiously awaiting my producer, Bil's return from Ireland with all of the great stories I'm sure he'll have. Last week he went out with John Prine and Maura O'Connel in Galway for dinner and a few pints. November and December are HARD WORK months. I'm still working on getting a new agent committed and on board.

I've secured the dates for the Kansas state tour (Feb 14-20) and I'm also looking forward to being in Montreal the following week.
A release date for the new CD should be set in the next couple of weeks. I'll let you know.
