Yesterday (May 7) was the Central Ohio Folk Festival.
It's always a treat to go back to the ol' hometown and play for folks I've known since I started on this path (28 years ago!)
The special treat was sitting on a Songwriters' Panel with TOM RUSH! www.tomrush.com
Tom's a great guy and you'd never know from the way he acts that he IS... like..... MISTER FOLK-MUSIC!
Without Tom we'd never have had Joni Mitchell! He's introduced so many people to so many wonderful songs, all while writing some great ones himself...
Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've had the opportunity to meet and work with a LOT of really GREAT people in this business...
it seems like the bigger and more talented they are the nicer they are...
Thanks Tom, for sharing the space with me!
Thanks to y'all in Columbus for welcoming me "back home" to share my music....
