THE MIRACLE OF MEDICINE
OK, I've never been a huge fan of doctors, hospitals and (especially) pharmaceutical companies. Once in awhile I've been proven wrong. One case is Bill Stewart, MD at Cleveland Clinic, another is Carl Fichtenbaum at UC Med Ctr... OK, I guess I could put up a pretty impressive list of great Docs... one real hero I have now is Doc Susan Szmyd in Blue Ash.
My wife Wendy suffered eye muscle damage a few years ago. It's a result of her battle with MS. Anyway, for 2-3 years or more Wendy has been struggling with double vision and wore an eye patch in order to function.
Doc Szmyd performed eye muscle surgery this morning to correct this problem. She has informed us that the surgery was a success! Wendy's now resting comfortably while ol' Dave plays "nurse." Oh, thank God for Tylenol with Codiene (for HER not me :O)
Keep in touch!
Peace
