TAKING LOUISVILLE BY STORM!
Don't get me wrong. I don't necessarily have a problem with power chords, drums and "singers" belting out inaudible lyrics until the "singer" is hoarse... but 6 straight bands doing this... well, you get the picture.
I took the stage with the Dave Hawkins Band at 1:30 today at the Hurricane Bay Water Park/Six Flags Louisville. It was all for the Six Flags Music Fest/Thirsty Melon Productions.... we had a ball! We sweated off a few pounds! From the crowds who approached the stage swaying to the music, smiling and tapping their feet we got the impression that we were a welcome relief....
From here it's off to Children's Hospital Lexington (don't forget- Children's Miracle Network!)
Then it's back to Glasgow for another week at Camp TJ Kids' Camp.
Peace!
Keep in touch!
