Well it's certainly a welcome relief to get a few days off!
Tomorrow my son David turns 21 !!! I'm really excited for more than a couple reasons. There was a time in his teen-age years that I PRAYED he'd make his next birthday! Now he's planning on getting a business degree and getting into Golf Course Management/Ownership (ol' Dad looks forward to free green fees for life :O)
I'm also glad that I'll be there because I was unable to be there when my 2 older daughters turned 21. When Nicole (now 25) turned the "big 21" I was in Belgium on tour. I still remember the phone call... "...where are YOU dad?!" "...yeh, I KNOW you're in Belgium on tour! It's my 21st birthday and everyone's here, except YOU!"
With Kristy (now 23) I was in Chicago... the phone call was about the same.... at least we got to out for drinks with her a week later....
it's going to be a fun party and, yes, we'll have a few drinks together...
Peace!
Keep in touch!
